Newborn shoot today!

Ahhhh, I photographed the cutest newborn today! Little Joel is 2 weeks, 1 day old today. I just wanted to steal him! Such a good little model, too.

Ohhh, how I miss having a newborn! Here's a new favorite of my "newborn" I took yesterday! I keep trying to tell myself that Maddox is still a baby. Sadly, he will be 10 months old next week and is quickly turning into a toddling little monkey! :)

Have a good night!

Heeeere we go!

As most of you already know, I got a new camera in January. I LOOOOVE it! I've been learning how to use it manually (courtesy of my dearest Rachel Vanoven), and have found that I may have a little bit of talent! Obviously, I have a looong way to go, but I'm pretty pleased with what I've figured out and come up with so far, and I'm ready to start making some money!

I've done a few sessions here and there over the past few months, getting a feel for it. Getting more and more comfortable with the camera itself, but needing some practice with Photoshop. The editing adds such personality and unique-ness (is that a word?), and I love experimenting with it.

So, until I get a website up and going, I'm gonna use this blog as my jumping off point. Showing pictures of sessions, etc.

If anyone is interested, I'd LOVE to take your pictures! I prefer natural light photography and shooting outside for the most part. I recently did a session at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and had the best time. It's so beautiful there!

You can email me at SBA920@comcast.net or reach me on Facebook at Sarah Ahlgrim Hill if you're interested in scheduling a shoot with me! So far, I've done newborn shoots, toddlers, a family shoot and a ton of my own kids (duh), but I'd love to get some sessions in of maternity, engagement, seniors and boudoir. <------- Yes! Doing my first boudoir session in a couple weeks, and couldn't be more excited!

Here's a sampling of what I've done so far...enjoy! And get at me! I wanna take your pictures! :)

Til next time...
