Heeeere we go!

As most of you already know, I got a new camera in January. I LOOOOVE it! I've been learning how to use it manually (courtesy of my dearest Rachel Vanoven), and have found that I may have a little bit of talent! Obviously, I have a looong way to go, but I'm pretty pleased with what I've figured out and come up with so far, and I'm ready to start making some money!

I've done a few sessions here and there over the past few months, getting a feel for it. Getting more and more comfortable with the camera itself, but needing some practice with Photoshop. The editing adds such personality and unique-ness (is that a word?), and I love experimenting with it.

So, until I get a website up and going, I'm gonna use this blog as my jumping off point. Showing pictures of sessions, etc.

If anyone is interested, I'd LOVE to take your pictures! I prefer natural light photography and shooting outside for the most part. I recently did a session at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and had the best time. It's so beautiful there!

You can email me at or reach me on Facebook at Sarah Ahlgrim Hill if you're interested in scheduling a shoot with me! So far, I've done newborn shoots, toddlers, a family shoot and a ton of my own kids (duh), but I'd love to get some sessions in of maternity, engagement, seniors and boudoir. <------- Yes! Doing my first boudoir session in a couple weeks, and couldn't be more excited!

Here's a sampling of what I've done so far...enjoy! And get at me! I wanna take your pictures! :)

Til next time...
